March 1st (F1plus team).- Luis Perez Sala, Spanish HRT team boss of Formula One, said today in Barcelona that his is a humble team has to go every day.

"We managed to pass the 'crash tests', but that does not mean we are now better than any team," said Perez Sala in Barcelona during the FOTA Fans' Forum in reference to the Marussia team, which still could not pass these safety requirements.

"We're a humble team and we have to go day by day. Our car is not ready yet, so we'll see if we can participate on the last day (Sunday) of testing this week in Barcelona or if we have to wait until Monday. If we cannot be ready for Sunday, we’ll go to Melbourne.” He said on reference to the first grand prix of the year from 16 to 18 March in Australia.

Remembvering again the 'crash tests' that his team beat last Sunday, Perez Sala said: "We've have gone through them and it has been a nightmare. I was not familiar with them and so I went to Cranfield, where you have to pass them."

"There are about twenty races and it’s really worth to look up close, because after seeing what the chassis has to endure, I understand why some of the accidents we've seen in the past have no significant consequences "said the former Formula One driver.

Also, Pedro de la Rosa revealed at the FOTA Fans Forum that the team would be aiming to run this weekend, and could use its filming day to test the car on Monday if required as well.

"The truth is that, today, the goal is to try to debut on Sunday," de la Rosa said. "If not, we would have the possibility to do a test on Monday ... We are in the construction phase of the car and it would be great to have it ready for Sunday."
