HRT launches its car for the 2012 season

March 5th, 2012 (F1plus team).- After a long delay, the Spanish outfit HRT finally released its new chassis for the 2012 season. The F112 was revealed this afternoon at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona, where the team managed to complete a partial filming day, with Narain Karthikyan at the wheel.

The Murcia-based squad had planned to run its 2012 contender last Sunday, during the final day of pre-season testing, but after discovering they were unable to, the team subsequently decided to schedule a day of promotional activities, on Monday and Tuesday.

Under the testing ban the team was not allowed to complete any more than 100kms of running, all of which had to be done on Pirelli's promotional tyres.
The team missed all the pre-season testing with the new car for the season. That will start on Australian with Friday practice, this month on the 16th.
