January 11th, 2013 (F1plus Team).- The team with the last three constructor titles in Formula 1, will unveil its contender for the 2013 season on February 3rd. The announcement came via Red Bull Racing twitter feed.

The RB8 will be the wheels for Sebastian Vettel, who just as his team will look to add a fourth championship crown. Mark Webber will partner with the German to content and add tot he total points tally.

The team said: "The RB9 will be unveiled on Sunday 3 February in Milton Keynes ahead of the first test in Jerez. More details to follow."

The announcement somewhat erases Adrian Newey's comments in which he admitted that the team was playing catch up with the new car following the close championship battle until the final race of last season.

In that opportunity Newey said to Autosport: "If I'm honest, [developing the RB8] has compromised the timescales of the new car more than we would have liked."

It was the right trade at the time because we managed to get the job done but it means a busy winter trying to catch up again."

The date implies that the RB8 will be ready from day one for the pre-season testing that will start in Jerez (Spain) on February the 5th.
