BARCELONA, 8th May 2014 (F1 Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Daniil Kvyat believes Toro Rosso will soon become more competitive and find it easier to pick up points.
The Italian based team have finished in the bottom end of the points in three races but Kvyat is hoping it won’t be long before the team find it easier to pick up points.
“So far we’ve been a bit on the limit of the points zone, but I hope that we can make some good steps and become even a bit more competitive, so we can take points a bit more easily.” he said during Thursday’s press conference.
“It would be a really good step but we are working hard together and soon it will be reachable.”
Kvyat scored two points in Australia and one at both the Malaysian and Chinese Grand Prix.
The Russian rookie was disappointed that he hadn’t been able to pick up points in Bahrain but said it had helped him learn.
“A bit of a shame not finishing in the points in Bahrain as well, but anyway you have to learn from something.” he said.
