SPA-FRANCORCHAMPS, August 22nd, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Kimi Raikkonen's running time on Friday in Belgium was limited by issues in both FP1 and FP2.

The Finn had a brake problem in the morning and an electrical problem during the afternoon's running.

In total he managed 35 laps running on Friday in comparison to Lewis Hamilton who clocked 50 laps.

"A difficult day, complicated by a series of setbacks which cost us valuable track time," Raikkonen surmised.

"In the morning, I had a brake problem, but once it was sorted, we were able to get through our planned programme

for the first session."

"In the afternoon, an electrical problem complicated our work, preventing us from carrying out the

race simulation.

"Tomorrow, we can expect a busy free practice session, in which we will do our best to prepare

the car for qualifying and the race.”

Raikkonen says Ferrari don't yet know what the best package will be for the Belgian Grand Prix but added that all the new components they brought to the race appear to be working.

"The new components we brought for this race seem to be working, but only after we have cross-referenced all the data will we be able to work out what is the best package to use for the rest of the

weekend."

The Ferrari driver finished FP1 fifth fastest and was 15th fastest in FP2.
